Tall Timber's Guide to Hiking Monadnock Mountain
From the
newly refurbished fire tower on the heavily wooded summit of this mountain, there are good
views of the Vermont - New Hampshire north country and southern Quebec. The trail is well
marked and maintained by the local boy scouts. The Green Mountain Club repaired
the steps leading up the fire tower in 2005, so it is a safe climb once again
and the views are excellent from this vantage point. Also, if the trail is
already broken, this is an excellent winter snowshoe trip!
